Attestation of The Seal and Signature of The Department of Consular Services of Nepal

The Embassy attests the seal and signature of the Department of the Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal on various documents issued by the Government of Nepal.
When applying for attestation of seal and signature on the documents certified/attested by the Department of Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (e.g. police report, birth certificate or marriage certificate, etc.), please submit the following documents:

i) Original document issued by the offices of the Government of Nepal and certified/attested by the Department of Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal
ii) Application to the Embassy specifying the requirement of such attestation
iii) Fee for attestation of such document is Euro 20.


Attestation of The Seal and Signature of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of foreign countries concerning consular, trade and commercial matters between Nepal and the respective country

When applying for attestation of seal and signature of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of concerned countries related to consular, trade and commercial matters between Nepal and the respective country, please submit the following documents:

i) Original document certified/attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of concerned countries to which this Embassy is concurrently accredited
ii) Application to the Embassy specifying the requirement of such attestation
iii) Fee for attestation of such document is Euro 20.


Citizenship Renouncement

Applicant must be physically present with prior appointment in front of the Ambassador/Head of Mission for certifying the renouncement of Nepali citizenship. For this purpose, please submit the following documents:
Required Documents:

▪ Application to the Embassy specifying the reasons to renounce the Nepalese citizenship
▪ Duly filled in prescribed form, which will be provided by the Embassy
▪ Nepali Citizenship Certificate (Original and photocopy)
▪ Nepali Passport (Original and photocopy)
▪ Copy of Citizenship Certificate of Applicant’s Parents.
▪ Parent’s marriage Certificate (for Children below 16 years old)
▪ Minor Identity Card in case of Children (if any)
▪ Berth Registration Certificate (for Children)
▪ Fee for attestation of such document is Euro 20.
